Big Data Analytics for RFID Datasets from Manufacturing Shopfloors

In this task, you will be given a dataset from a radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled smart manufacturing shopfloor. The dataset includes thousands of data from daily operations using RFID technology in the manufacturing environment. There are nine columns with specific data:
• ID: auto-generated ID in SQL database;
• BatchMainID: representing a batch of product;
• UserID: indicating a specific worker;
• ProcCode: representing a typical processing such as milling, drilling etc;
• ProcSeqnum: indicating the sequence of processing;
• Quantity: the total pieces for a batch;
• Good Number: Quantity after inspection;
• Time: a time stamp reflecting the finished time of a processing;
• Location: representing a specific machine;
You may use different analytic tools such as statistics approaches, data mining models, machine learning algorithms, etc to process and analyse the dataset.
The report should cover, but not limited to, the following items:
• Introduction (research objectives; research questions; literature review, etc)
• Methodology (description of models, algorithms, approaches, etc)
• Results and Discussion (key findings or observations)
• Conclusion
• References
• Appendix
