Individual Project Proposal
In addition to developing technical skills, INFO 6270 is designed to help you prepare to manage data science projects throughout a project lifecycle. In this assignment, you will identify a data science problem and propose a project that solves this problem.
Read the Individual Project document closely to understand the final deliverable for this course. Reflecting on this deliverable and what you know about data science so far, identify and propose a data science project. Your document should be between 1000 and 1500 words and meet the following requirements:
1. Describe a concrete problem that can be solved using data science.
2. Describe a data repository that can be used to solve this problem.
3. Outline and briefly summarize at least 3 academic papers that support your research direction.
4. Describe elements of the methodology that will be used in your analysis.
5. Describe a timeline for project completion.
Your document should contain distinct introduction and approach sections. The introduction section will generally satisfy requirements 1, 2 and 3, while the approach section will generally satisfy requirements 4 and 5. Your document should adhere to the APA citation style.
