As we have not yet completed Chapter 3, there will be more emphasis on material of Chapters 1 and 2.
List of important concepts:
1. Encryption and Decryption in Shift Cipher
2. Encryption and Decryption in Affine Cipher
3. Encryption and Decryption in Vignere Cipher
4. Encryption and Decryption in Hill Cipher
5. Computing inverses of elements in Modulo arithmetic
6. Various equivalent definitions of perfect secrecy
7. Proving or disproving perfect secrecy of a given encryption scheme
8. Finding a disntinguisher to check if given function is a Pseudo random generator.
(Check examples at end of chapter. Since we did not have an homework over this, if given, this will be an easier question)
