Before the exam:
The final exam will be distributed via GitLab. The exam will begin at 02:30 pm Canberra time on 18 June 2020, and will run for 3 hours and 30 minutes.
ensure you have a working home setup for the course including VSCodium and Git; and
ensure you can access your ANU GitLab account.
At the start of the exam:
You will gain access to a private GitLab repository under the exam group in ANU GitLab.

Fork this exam to your own namespace. Do not change the name of this repository, or fork it to a different namespace, or we will not be able to mark your exam.
During the exam, tutors will be available on Piazza and Teams so that students can get help in case technical problems arise.
Once you have forked the exam:
answer each question by completing the provided

answer file according to the instructions you will find in the file README.md;
answer true/false and multiple choice questions in the file named Answer.md
There is a video on Echo360 which demonstrates how you can edit Answer.md file on VSCodium. Answer.md file is a template where students can write their answers for non- programming questions. You need to put x in bracket [ ] to mark your answer. You can edit the file Answer.md in VSCodium after the fork.

after you complete each question, commit and push your work to GitLab. It is recommended to check if the push was successful in a browser.
The last commit that you push to GitLab before the end of the exam will be used for marking. Any commits pushed after the end time of the exam will be ignored and will not count towards your exam mark. You may commit and push as many times as you wish during the exam time; only the final on-time commit will be marked.

Oral Examinations
As part of the final exam, students are required to attend a followup oral examination, consisting of a small number of questions aiming to confirm their exam mark. If the convenor is not satisfied with the outcome of this oral examination, this may result in failure of the final exam and/or an investigation under ANU¡¯s academic integrity rules.
Please go here and select a preferred time slot (do not choose xx:50 slots, e.g. 09:50). Select only one. Oral examinations will be held on June 22 and June 23 on Microsoft Teams.

Past Exams
Students can acceess exams of previous years which can be used to practice with the final exam. The number of weighting of questions and the material covered for the final exam may be different from the previous exams.
