• Will be held via the course web page in CU Learn
• A hyperlink “Quiz 2” will appear in the appropriate week on
the day of the exam, a few minutes before the start
• Date:Tuesday Dec 01
• Time: starts at 11:45 am and ends at 12:45 pm
• Duration: 30 min

Pay Attention!
• The quiz will be multiple choice. You get only one chance to answer a question. You cannot go back to an answered question.
• Use a piece of paper or an electronic pad to work on the question before you enter your answer.
• You get a total of 30 minutes to finish the quiz and you must start and finish during the allocated time. For example, assume the time allocated is between 06:00 am and 07:00 am: 1) if you start at 06:10 then you will have to finish no later than 06:40, but 2) if you start at 06:50 then you must still finish at 07:00
• The time allocation required for PMC students has beem adjusted in CU Learn.

What Do I Study for Quiz 1?
• In general study everything up to and including the last lecture before the Quiz. Knowledge of material from Quiz 1 is also assumed.
• Material from lecture notes includes: 1. Independent Sets
2. Dominating Sets
3. Traversals
4. Locality
5. Fault To;erant Broadcasting 6. Distribited Connections
7. Message Passing
• NB: As a general rule, assignment questions are much harder than quiz questions.
