Why conduct a literature review?
Shows how the work that you are about to do relates to previous research
Explains the contribution that your work makes to this field
It may start to fill a gap

Citations and References
What’s the difference?
Google Scholar is a website, library search is a website (sort of)
However, you do not reference what you find there iaw referencing a website!
Journals, books (including the Holy Bible) and conference papers are all available on www – but you must reference them iaw their original form.
Use the Referencing Handbook at all times!!!!
