Exam delivery
Exam will be conducted remotely in an open book style.
Date/time: Check SIMConnect. Duration: 2 hours (+ 15 minutes admin time for scanning and uploading answers)
Exam questions will be posted on Moodle at the exam start time. If you login to Moodle early, make sure you refresh the web page.
Submit your work in one single file (PDF or Word) to the submission site on Moodle. The submission site will be setup on Moodle.
To draw diagrams, you can use any tool of your choice (or draw by hand and take pictures – make sure the pictures are all clear!). However, you need to insert the diagrams back into the submission file. Please do not submit multiple files.
Submission must be made by the exam end time. Late submission is NOT accepted. The submission site will automatically closed after the above duration.

Total 50 marks
To be eligible for a Pass in this subject a student must achieve a mark of at least 20 out of 50 (40%) in the Final Examination.
The exam is expected to be completed independently.
You must do it on your own and do NOT discuss your work
nor share it with anyone else.
When you submit, you acknowledge it is your own work.
Plagiarism may result in a FAIL grade.
Type of exam questions
Theoretical questions
Critically discuss a certain concepts in the subject and/or discuss how they can be applied in practice (a specific case study or scenario).
Practical questions
You are given a description of a system and are asked to develop a UML design model (e.g. use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, state diagram, activity diagram, etc.)
