1. Chapter 4. Confidence interval, hypothesis testing, order statistics (median,
quantile).
2. Chapter 5. Convergence in probability, convergence in distribution, WLLN, Slutsky,
continuous mapping, central limit theorem, delta method.
3. Chapter 6. MLE, invariance principle, Fisher information, R-C inequality,
efficiency, asymptotic of mle, likelihood ratio tests, Wald, score.
4. Chapter 7. Sufficiency (factorization theorem), non-uniqueness of sufficiency. Rao-
Blackwell. Completeness. MVUE. Exponential class. Ancillary statistics (location,
scale-invariance), Basu’s theorem.
5. Chapter 8. Most powerful tests, Neyman-Pearson Lemma. Uniformly most powerful
tests, monotone likelihood ratio.
