Lectures
Although the initial recommendation of the Math Faculty when we moved to online teaching was to focus on asynchronous content delivery, we learned from student feedback that some prefer to have scheduled weekly encounters with the instructors, when they can learn the content synchronously and ask questions. Therefore, recognizing that students have different preferences on how to learn online, we are delivering the course content in three different ways this term. The content taught will be the same on the three channels. So, the choice of each one to use is totally up to you. Feel free to chose what you prefer or mix-and-match them.
Recorded Lectures
All of the W21 lecture streams have been recorded and posted here on LEARN. For an alternate approach, Dr. Godfrey’s video lectures from F20 are also available.
Text-Based Lectures
If you prefer reading, all of the course content is also available in text-based format (with a few short videos embedded in the text to demonstrate some topics). You can use the text-based lectures in addition to or instead of the video lectures.
