· You must submit your exam answers via the submission link named “Final Exam Submission [LETTER]” provided on the Wattle page, under the same section as to where the exam questions were released. To avoid submission congestion, we will create 3 different submission links, but only one of them will be visible to you. The “LETTER” in the name of the submission link can be A, B, or C.
· All submissions after this due time will NOT be accepted.
[3] Multiple Choice Section
· The multiple choice section will contain 10 multiple choice/’calculated’ questions for you to answer.
· The multiple choice section will have NO FREE NAVIGATION. This means once you move on from a question, you cannot go back to it. You must answer each question sequentially.
· These questions do not require an explanation, just a final answer.
· All questions are weighted equally. Students will typically see slightly different questions than other students, but of essentially equivalent difficulty.
· You have one hour to complete the multiple choice section. If you do not finish in that time, then what you have completed will be marked. If you finish early, please wait quietly for the remaining time.
[4] Short Answer Section
· The format of these exam questions will be similar the tutorial/quiz questions.
· For each question, you must show your work and give the intuition of the result. Providing the final answer only with no explanation will get zero marks. Partial marks will be given for showing understanding, even if the final answer is incorrect. Answers which are correct, but do not show a complete understanding will also receive partial marks.
· These questions must be hand-written on paper. Ipads (or other tablets) may not be used.
[5] Writing, scanning and submitting the short answer section
· Please have writing utensils and paper ready. Your exam must be hand-written on paper.
· It is your responsibility to ensure that your handwriting is legible. Markers reserve the rights to not mark any illegible exam, and as a consequence, the mark of that exam will be zero.
· You must clearly write down your full name and university ID on the top-left corner of the first page of your submission.
· All writing and graphs must be facing upright (i.e. your work must not be sideways or upside down).
· You must start your answer to each question on a new page and indicate which question is being answered at the top of the page. Where relevant, you must indicate the part of a question that is being answered within your answer to each question.
· You must sort all of your answers (when you scan and/or combine them into a single PDF file) into the same order as the corresponding questions appear on the exam question file. Where relevant, you must sort all of your answers to parts of a question into the same order as the corresponding parts appear within that question on the exam question file.
· You must submit your exam answers in ONE file ONLY and in PDF format ONLY. Submissions in any other format other than PDF will NOT be marked. If you submit multiple files, only one of them will be randomly marked.
· Please give the submission title in the following format: Surname_UniID (e.g. Taylor_1234567)
· You can submit your exam early, but it is your own responsibility to ensure that your submission is successful. For example, you need to check the e-mail confirmation of your successful submission and also check on Turnitin to make sure that you can see your submission there.
· You may also submit your work to the ‘backup’ submission link on Wattle. Work submitted through any means other than the main submission link or backup link will not be accepted.
