The format for the report
Use a single PDF file, please make sure that all fonts are included into the same file through embedding or subsetting. Please do not submit files in Word format!
The main text is expected to include 3000 words. This is approximately 4 pages of text excluding illustrations and code listing, which will make the document longer. The title page, contents, illustrations, tables, bibliography and appendices are not counted.
Title page. An abstract and table of contents are optional (not assessed).
Introduction – aims (educational and technical), objectives (step by step), concepts covered within the coursework, brief background (use references to keep is short!).
Main text – specification, design, modelling, experiment, discussion. Figures/tables must not include unnecessary details that are not discussed in the text.
Conclusions – must reflect all achievements in the context of objectives
References
Appendix – source code and screen shots – must be referred to in the main text
