The Course
No textbook.
No regular lectures.
Instead, the course consists of the following components.
Independent learning: weekly videos on blackboard and self-progress checks. Weekly live sessions online.
Weekly tutorials.

Live Sessions
One hour per week through Zoom: Fridays, 09:00-10:00.
Some weeks will be open discussion / extended consultation.
Students come with questions related to independent learning material. Participation can be either active or passive.
Attendance is optional.
Some weeks will be interactive tasks focused on a special topic.
Students will be involved in group discussion.
Students are expected to actively participate¡ªpassively listening will not be an option. Attendance is not required but highly recommended.
All live sessions will be recorded and posted on BB.

Tutorials will focus on working with data using R.
Tutorials: Consolidate concepts and provide practical experience. Internal mode: all tutorials are face-to-face in labs on-campus. External mode: all tutorials are online via zoom.
Attending tutorials through for both modes is highly recommended!
Zoom tutorials will be recorded an posted on BB. We do not expect to be able to record face-to-face tutorials.
