• For Windows users – Download and install Power BI Desktop on your laptop/desktop (see following slides for instructions on installation)
• For Mac users – Download and install Citrix to your laptop you will need it to access myAccess to run Power BI (see following slides for instructions on installation)
• Download and save the three Excel datasets on your laptop/desktop, we will be using these datasets for this week’s demo and workshop

• Supplementary Activities – Data Science Personality Test
Windows users – Download and install Power BI Desktop on your laptop/desktop
1. Go to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en- gb/desktop/
2. Click “Download free” button
3. Once click on it, it will open Microsoft store on Power BI download page
4. You can now download and install
Note: Download of Power BI is entirely free.
Mac users – Download and install Citrix to your laptop
1. Go to https://www.myaccess.unsw.edu.au/
2. Follow the two-step instruction on the webpage to download and install Citrix to your Mac Book
