Inference by enumeration
By enumerating all possibilities and adding the corresponding probabilities, we can infer all probabilities of interest
However, the amount of information that needs to be specified is exponential in the number of random variables
Likewise, the time complexity is exponential in the number of random variables
This method is therefore only practical for very simple problems (real-world problems may have hundreds or thousands of random variables)
