Graduate/Undergraduate Students
As indicated on the syllabus, the project is 30% of your total grade

Project Proposal
The project proposal should contain the following sections:
1. Title
2. Contact Info: emails, name of group members, etc.
3. Project specifications: A brief overview about the project including
a. Context
b. Motivations/Problem Statement
c. Expected contributions(Solution) and Objectives
d. Tasks management (e.g. Gantt chart)
e. References (if any)
You may design the details of the product in any-way that you feel is feasible and which you feel you would enjoy developing subject to the following constraint: due to the limitations of the quarter length and other responsibilities all students have during the course, the project should be able to be completed with roughly 4 hours of work per student per week. At the same time, the project should require roughly that investment of effort, to be of adequate complexity.
You may select any supporting technologies you are interested in, and any programming language you prefer. As the overall project effort is difficult to predict, you may find it beneficial to select an incremental feature set. In that manner, you can complete the product in stages until you run out of class time. But at any time, you will have a completed product that you could deliver. Proceeding in incremental fashion is not required, but advised.
Assessment
1. 10% for the report: The maximum number of pages is 3 pages (including references).
2. Each group member will obtain the same grade.
3. You will be graded on the quality your project: originality, technical soundness,
presentation and report quality (grammatical errors, clarity, etc.).
